Mitchell Williams
Mr. Williams is starting his 15th year of teaching as Briscoe Middle School’s new Head Band Director. He is a San Antonio native, holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Central Florida, and a Masters of Music Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
While the majority of his teaching experience has been with Middle/High School Band programs, he also has experience with Orchestral and Guitar students as well.
In his free time, Mr. Williams’ hobbies include barbecuing, reading, playing video games, and spending time with his wife, Jill.
Gerardo Gonzalez
Mr. Gonzalez is starting his 1st year of teaching as Briscoe Middle School’s new Associate Band Director. He is from Laredo, TX, holds a bachelor of Music Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Masters of Applied Music from Oklahoma State University.
Mr. Gonzalez has spent many years performing in different ensembles from Drum Corps International with Genesis DBC, OkState Brass Quintet, OkState Woodwind Quintet, and Wind Bands & Orchestra groups. In his free time, Mr. Gonzalez likes to play video games, read, and watch movies!
