Hello, Bengal Band Families! We hope you’ve had a great weekend! I just wanted to send out a reminder of some upcoming events before our school year ends!
Friday, May 8: Jazz Band Performance at Taft, Report time: 6:00pm, Performance Time: 6:30pm Attire: Fun Shirt and Jeans
Monday, May 11: Spring Concert in the Briscoe Cafeteria. Honor, Symphonic and Concert Band will report at 5:00pm and perform at 5:30pm. Beginning Band will report at 6:00pm and perform at 6:30pm Attire: Fun Shirt and Jeans
Wednesday, May 13: Beginning Band Solo Contest (This will take place during the beginning Band classes.) Attire: A little more dressy than regular school wear, as able.
Thursday, May 14: The Band Booster Bash at Greentree Tennis Club! 5:30pm-8:00pm, $15. There will be swimming, tennis, volleyball, basketball (bring a ball if you want!) and pizza and drinks! The permission and payment link is here.
*If you were issued a school-owned instrument, please turn in your $60 cleaning fee. You can pay here or bring cash or a check.
*Intermediate and Advanced students, if you haven’t already turned in your band uniform, please do so, asap. If your uniform is not turned in by May 15, we ask that you have your uniform dry cleaned and returned to Briscoe.
